With nearly 40 years of professional experience, more than 37 years as an Oshawa resident, and a longstanding record of community and parish leadership, I bring experience, dedication, and a deep sense of responsibility to serving others. I believe effective leadership begins with listening, building relationships, working collaboratively, and turning commitment into meaningful results.

As a Business Development Professional, I have built my career on developing opportunities, managing projects, and cultivating strong, lasting relationships across diverse industry sectors. These experiences have strengthened my leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills—qualities I value in representing families, supporting students, and contributing to the future of Catholic education.

Oshawa is more than the place I call home; it is the community where my husband, Michael, and I raised our daughter, Mary, and where our family has built lasting connections. As long-time parishioners of Holy Cross Catholic Church, our Catholic faith has shaped our values and inspired our commitment to service. Through parish leadership, youth programs, student bursaries, and community organizations, I have worked to support young people, strengthen our faith community, and create opportunities for others to succeed.

My service as a past President and current Executive Committee member of the Holy Cross Catholic Women's League, Durham Regional CWL Service Chair, and former President of the Durham YWCA reflects my belief that leadership is not simply about holding a position—it is about showing up, working together, and making a difference.

I am proud of the experience, relationships, and community connections I have developed throughout my professional, parish, and volunteer life. I bring a collaborative approach, a strong work ethic, and a genuine commitment to protecting, supporting, and strengthening Catholic education so that our students can thrive academically, grow in faith, and become compassionate, responsible, and engaged members of society.

My commitment is simple: to lead with integrity, serve with compassion, and put students and the future of Catholic education first.
