Oshawa has been my home for more than 37 years. My husband, Michael, and I raised our daughter, Mary, in this diverse community. My family and I are also long-time parishioners of Holy Cross Catholic Church.

My Service to the Community
- Secretary of Holy Cross CWL Executive Council - Part of the Executive Committee for our local CWL Parish, organizing fundraising initiatives for the Bursary Program (2 bursaries for graduating Mgsr John Pereyma students and 1 Continuing Ed student), as well as other community needs
- Durham Regional CWL Service Chair - organizing the CWL Youth program, including Mary Matthews Public Speaking for Intermediate students, Mary Dobell Essay and Poetry Contests for Intermediate and Senior students and Jean McCann Service Award.
- Holy Cross Church - Lectern Coordinator, Finance Council, Collection Counter. During the pandemic, my husband Michael, and I taped and uploaded the weekly Masses to the Holy Cross website for parishioners, receiving nearly 9000 views during that period. Michael continues to livestream the Saturday afternoon masses.
