My Service to the Community
- President of Holy Cross CWL Council – organizing fundraising initiatives for the Bursary Program (2 bursaries for graduating Mgsr John Pereyma students and 1 Continuing Ed student), as well as other community needs
- Durham Regional CWL Education and Health Chair – organizing the CWL Youth program, including Mary Matthews Public Speaking and Mary Dobell Essay and Poetry Contests for Intermediate and Senior students.
- Board Director – The Business and Professional Women of Durham
- Holy Cross Church – For the last 2.5 years, my husband, Michael, and I have been taping and uploading the weekly Masses to the Holy Cross website for parishioners, receiving nearly 9000 views
- President – Durham YWCA
- Community Representative, and founding member of the Durham Catholic Parent Involvement Committee (DCPIC), a legislated committee of the Board.
- School Council – All Saints CSS
- Chair – St Thomas Aquinas CS
- Ministry of Education, Passport to Prosperity – giving career talks in the classroom.
